During past weeks we've been doing a hard job on optimizing web forms and today we are happy to give you the fastest forms on web!
We cut HTML rending time by half. Today even quite big forms show in about half a second! That's very important, particuraly in case on presenting them on mobilde devices.
We are happy to introduce multiple mail notifications. When somebody fills out your form, ActiveForms can now send many mails - diferrent to you, different to your client.
We are happy to introduce live, instant validation - performing just after entering data.
After each submit of a form, ActiveForms send an e-mail notification. Ussually we use this channel to send submitted entries to ourselves - forms owner. However, sometimes we need to notify our client. Since our form runs in our domain, mail notification should be also sent from there.
It's quite ussual situaltion, that the quickiest way to build your form is to take an existing one, copy it, and introduce only minor changes. For these cases we have a dedicated function: Duplicate form.
If you need a control or widget that looks or behaves in an unusal way, use our Custom Fields. Here you can find following tutorials about custom fields and components.
Our guiding principle while designing ActiveForms was: forms change. You no longer create forms once and for all. If your form is supposed to sell something, it needs some work—correcting, optimising and testing. Just as websites or Facebook fanpages change, so do your forms.
Sometimes you need to compare field values while submitting an entry or proceeding to the next page. Most often this applies to checking whether the “Email address” and “Confirm email address” values are identical.
It is very easy to set up such validation.
Just add the file in the file tree in the Design tab, as shown below.
